3D Assignment 11: Creating a Medium Complexity Character Part 02

For this week we took our Starfish man from last week and brought him into Zbrush to begin sculpting.

First I brought in image planes into Zbrush for reference:






















From there I subdivided the model and began modeling. I also went and made a custom brush to use as the suction cup things on the concept:





















I also created eyes in Maya and then finished the sculpt. Here's it rendered out in Zbrush:

  1. Nice use of large, med, small details. Watch your overall shapes and proportions for the larger shapes. A little more round in the chin area.
