I decided to create a stylized axe and used a DT series for guidance.
Here's my current WIP, but I plan on going back and properly retopologizing it in Maya and possibly redoing the textures to look more stylized.
I also want to go back and rebake the model to get the nicks in the blade from my Zbrush sculpt, then export the final model and bring it into UE4.Honestly this was so much fun to do, I really enjoyed detailing the axe blade and the wooden bits, I learned a lot, and I can't wait to do more stuff like this.
