2D Week 8: Group Project (Artist Discovery) - Team Tinman

For this week we are working on a class wide project to redesign the Wizard of Oz. We were broken into four teams of six with a team lead for each team as decided by the class. My team is redesigning the Tinman and the Wizard of Oz to the style of Tim Buron.

Pinterest: Team Tinman

After our first discussion everyone on our team spent a couple of days gathering pins that they were interested in and placed them into a "Dump" board on Pinterest. We then all got together as a team and went through the Dump board and filtered them into different categories that better refined the style we were looking for. We spent a lot of time in this meeting establishing the look of our character, colors, environment, and mood.

After we did that we then gave each member two categories to discuss in more detail. I created this layout and gave them to my team and the rest of the class to use as a base for their images. Paul Salas found the fonts for us all to use.
